The Executive of the Association met last night to finalise its positon in relation to the proposed hunting.
Association members and all interested people and groups are encouraged to read the statement and provide any constructive feedback.

The fact that the deer have been on the island for 160 years qualifies them I believe for heritage listing, heritage listing then protects them.This needs to be be researched and acted upon quickly to buy more time while we plan and put forward our protest. Are we going to put info letter out and collect signatures of support, that can be very powerful ?
