There has been a lot of discussion regarding the risk assessment(s) undertaken by the Licensing & Regulation Division of Vic Police and it is certainly a document we’re all keen to see. However, after making written requests to both Parks Victoria and Minister D’Ambrosio’s Office we’ve been informed the report wont be released and that if we wanted a copy we would need to make a Freedom of Information Request. An application has been made under FOI and we expect a response within the next 45 days. People can make their own minds up regarding the transparency surrounding this decision when a document concerning public safety is being withheld.
If anyone has a copy of the report or reports and is in a position to make them public, then we can only ask you to do so.
